Relational

God could have made robots.

He could have never placed the tree of knowledge where humans could access it.

He could have, but He did not.

He formed the first human, breathed life into the clay, and began forging a relationship with him.  Adam was made in God’s image. Adam learned language and communication as he and God named the myriad of animals that had been created.  There were males and females of all these creatures. None of them suitable for Adam.

Adam, a likeness to His Creator, is relational.

“…God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:26-27 NIV

The Man named the cattle, named the birds of the air, named the wild animals; but he didn't find a suitable companion.”

 Genesis 2:20 from The Message
